About Gaurav Kumar
I'm Gaurav Kumar, a full-stack developer at B3 Solution shipping React + Node products that real finance teams use every day. I built the company's flagship Amazon Analytics platform — six modules tracking ACOS, ROAS, CPC and ad spend — alongside four finance dashboards that cut reporting time by 70% and automated 60%+ of manual workflows.
What I focus on
Two things, mostly:
- Software that quietly does the heavy lifting. The dashboards I build are not flashy — they are the kind of tool a finance team opens every Monday morning and forgets about, because it just works. That is a higher bar than "looks great in a demo".
- End-to-end ownership. From the architecture call through the schema, the API, the UI, and the deployment. Not because I want to do everything, but because a clean handoff between layers is usually where things break.
How I got here
Started building React + Node products in 2024 at B3 Solution. The first project was a small reconciliation dashboard for the finance team — a single view, two tables, one CSV export. It replaced about six hours a week of manual spreadsheet work. That experience set the pattern for everything since: find an expensive ritual, replace it with something boring and reliable.
Since then I've shipped four finance dashboards (P&L by entity, AR aging, reconciliation, expense automation), a seven-page Amazon advertising analytics platform with Puppeteer Stealth scraping 18 ASINs and 3,500+ keywords weekly, and a handful of full-stack MERN side projects including NeoMail — an email client with MongoDB TTL auto-expiry and JWT HTTP-only cookie auth.
What I use
Default stack: Next.js + Node + PostgreSQL + Tailwind. For projects that need MongoDB specifically, I swap in MERN. For scraping work, Puppeteer Stealth on a single small VPS with cron is the boring-and-reliable answer. For state, Redux Toolkit on apps that genuinely need shared client state; otherwise plain React Query or RTK Query.
Tools I rely on every day: VS Code, Git, GitHub, Vercel for deployment, Postman for API work, DBeaver for Postgres, Figma to consume designs (not originate them), and Linear or a single shared Notion page for status.
How I work with clients
Async-first. One half-hour sync call a week, a written status update every Friday, and a PR-shaped feedback loop. I commit small, deploy often, and prefer two production releases a week over one big monthly drop.
Working hours overlap with the entire EU, UK and Asia-Pacific window, and US Eastern up to about 1am IST. Async by default; we will not solve every question in a meeting.
Outside of work
Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh is in the foothills of the Himalayas — so most weekends involve some combination of walking, riding, and being away from a screen. I read more non-fiction than is strictly healthy, with a weakness for books about why systems fail.
